Who doesn't love a good DIY fashion piece? I certainly do, which is why I came up with this super cute crochet purse! Although I love crafting and creating, crocheting is not my strong suit. Yet I still managed to complete this bag with no pattern or guidance whatsoever - it is that easy. So if I can do it, so can you! Here's how I did it:
First off you'll need a crochet hook and some t-shirt yarn. I used a size 10 hook, which is fairly large in order to compensate for the thickness of the yarn. You'll also need hardware - chain, rings and magnets/buttons. I went with silver hardware. Finally you will need a needle and thread that is the color of your yarn, scissors and two pairs of pliers to open and close the chain links. Before you start you need to decide the size of your bag. The baby pink one on the photo above is pretty small (16x13 cm) because I only had 13 single crochets (sc) per row, whereas the white bag on the photo below is much larger (26x15 cm) with 17 sc per row.
