On Saturday the 21st of October we packed our things and headed back to Miami. The hotel was amazing! The pictures both above and below are the view from our balcony, which stretched halfway around the building, the entire length of our room. We were on the 24th floor so it was quite a ways down, but absolutely beautiful. On top of all that we had a perfect view of the sunrise over the water like seen below.
This picture looks completely surreal in the way the light falls on the water. It was absolutely beautiful, even with all the clouds covering the sun. On one of the first days were took a walk in the art district og Miami and saw all these awesome murals/grafitti art. There were many more than the ones below. We also visited Little Havana and had a delicious cup of coffee at one of the small, authentic Cuban cafés.
I spotted this cute, old car parked along Ocean Dr. on South Beach. Ocean Dr. is a long road along the beach lined with loads of restaurants, bars and cafés. The nightlife especially seems really good here, but I just had a few nice dinners at the restaurants with my family. One dinner that was especially memorable was at restaurant called ETARU. It was probably the best sushi/seafood I have ever had. They brought out one dish for the entire table at the time and everything one of them was exquisite.
